The Tate Pumphouse Trail Center is located along the Platte River Parkway trail system in Casper, Wyoming. The Pumphouse is a historic building that was once did just what its name describes it was a pump station that conveyed water to the town of Midwest, Wyoming and the Salt Creek Field. The building was renovated in 2009 and is now a community gathering place with indoor public restrooms, public plaza, bike/kayak rental shop, Gegi’s Bistro, and the Parkway Trails System office.
CEPI completed the civil engineering site design for the project. Tasks included surveying and grading the site, designing the parking lot for today’s needs and future expansion, and designing water and sewer mains to connect to the existing infrastructure, which included designing a low pressure sewer main and grinder pump station.
This project is the culmination of more than twenty-five years of work by many people in the Casper community, and CEPI is proud to have been a part of the process.
